Person most responsible for cultivating your love for the outdoors:
Tommy Wise - He took me hunting when I first moved to North Carolina and we have hunted nearly every year since at least once a year with each other for the last 17 years.  We've spent a lot of time in the outdoors together and he has taught me most of what I know about hunting and tracking and enjoying time spent in the outdoors with our heavenly Father.

Favorite Scripture:
How can you pick just one favorite?
Matthew 11:12 is definitely a top five - "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
Hebrews 12:1-2 - " Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Psalm 27:13-14 - " I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.

Any spiritual lessons you have learned on outdoor events:
When you put a bunch of guys in the right atmosphere who have the same passion and start discussing things that matter you find that men also share the same problems.  Satan lies to us and tells us that we are the only one in the world struggling but when men get together like they do on IO retreats and God starts working men find truth and healing and encouragement and God is glorified.
